A not guilty plea when you were clearly guilty would only make things worse for yourself. In this situation, you have no choice to to take the punishment. You can't say they were the first tickets you ever got when there were two of the them! One mistake is forgivable but 2 is just plain stupid. Take the punishment.

Most places don't have no U-turn signs. The reason is U-turns are illegal almost everywhere. You don't see seat-belt required signs either for the same reason. If your license was suspended before your court appearance, it was most likely suspended for failure to appear in court, not for the moving violations. I would plead 'no contest'. This means you don't admit anything but won't fight the charge. Where I am from, this allows you to make a statement to the judge. If you can document a medical reason for missing court, the judge will probably excuse that. You will still be fined for the original violations.

Since you may have the police officers name i would talk to him about it tell him that the only reason why you could not pay it was bc you had surgery and he may tell you to go to court anyway but he will either let the ticket go with litte or no points or he may just let you have little points but no money payed.
I got my linces suspended bc one of the officer told me that dont worry he will drop the ticket and i did not realize i still had to go to court about it DUH on my part but any way i months later i got rear ended by a women the officer at the scene said that my linces was suspended for unpaid ticket which was from the last cop but I told him I had no clue that my license was suspended and he belived me and he said just show up to court and i will take care of it and he said just pay the other ticket from the other officer. So i paid the other ticket and he took care of my linces being supended also for me i did not even have to talk to the judge or anything he just saw me in the court room and then he waved to me saying i could go.
SO i would just talk to the officer who gave you the ticket bc you know you are guilty so they will prove that and if you fight it that you might have to pay HIGHER MONEY and MORE POINTS BECAUSE if you fight it and found guilty they can make the ticket higher and make the points more.
so i would suggest just talking to the officer either by phone or maybe in person. OR if you feel you have no just cause for not paying and you just plainly forgot about it then i guess you are just going to have to pay both tickets.
GOOD LUCK.

Plead No Contest. It is a moving violation. Provide Physician statements and hospital records. They may take that into consideration.

Good Luck
