we were wrong and they were right i find this kind of ridiculous considering that if you think any thoughts against the bible or holy spirit you cannot be "saved" in that religion. anybody else notice this?

Yep. Pascal's Wager, in other words. It's simply ludicrous.

sorry we gave you the wrong ideas about what God tolerates and what He does not. Example. I have never liked Romans 13. One time I tore it pout of my Bible then it occurred to me to ask God what's up with this. He answered and although I still do not like it I understand why it is there.

There have been things in the past I would do and feel conviction for. Not often but these were kinda big. I would confess and think even though I want to do these I will try. Truth be told I was not sorry so God gave me a life lesson out of seeing why I should not do these now I am not only truly sorry but will be truly sorry probably for eternity.or not depending on how all that afterlife stuff works.

Also, who's to say that the Muslims or Hindus aren't right. There's nothing that makes Christianity a safer bet than the other religions.

When people say things like that, they are trying to pass off Pascals Wager as if it actually has some merit. Basically, what they are really saying is that their all-knowing sky-fairy is too retarded to know the difference between a true believer and a poser.

If I believe in Santa and you don't, then if I'm right, you don't get any presents and I do, but if I'm wrong, neither of us gets any presents... I'll test it on Santa this year, if it works, God's next.
