I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I don't practice homosexual behavior of course, but sometimes I get discouraged.

God bless you, my friend. You are certainly obeying the Lord's will by abstaining from homosexual behavior while you are under the tremendous temptation that sex imposes on a young man. As with so many of life's tough problems, you must put yourself completely in Jesus' hands if you wish for a completely satisfactory solution.
The One who made the blind see, and the lame walk, is perfectly able to heal you of your desire for sexual immorality. I pray you will direct your efforts to Him, and only to Him, as you struggle with your particular temptations. Give Him your will, your heart, and your fleshly desires each morning, and whenever you feel the pull of sin. And TRUST in Him! Remember, He often told people that it was their FAITH that made His miracles happen.
I can't tell you how much I admire your courage in sticking by the Lord and tackling this difficult problem instead of just giving in to it as so many others have done. May God look upon you in perfect love and mercy, and may He richly bless you with faith, and strength, and healing. You'll be in my prayers, friend--hang in there!

Ignore all the homophobes. No one can tell you the kind of relantionship you have between you and your God. No one, knows what God is thinking. It's like that saying why would God make us all so different, if he wanted us to be the same. You are gay, be proud, accept yourself, the sooner you accept yourself the happier you'll be. Find some gay/homosexual support groups in your area. I am sure if you go to college they will have an organization for gay students. There is a whole world out there- explore and have fun.
Don't forget, your relantionship with your God, is between you and your creator NO ONE and i mean NO ONE can tell you otherwise.

You are gay and Christian, and no amount of ALEXs can take that away from you. NEVER< EVER EVER forget that. There will always be jerks.
Read John 3:16 and know HE loves you.
Look for an accepting church. Most Episcopal Churches are very accepting and it gives you a decent place for worship and for fellowship. There are others, as well; most ELCA Lutheran groups are very accepting as well. Metropolitan Community Churches are also in most larger cities. The main thing is that you not let these fundamentalist crazies drive you away from the Lord. Most of them are absolute losers, and I'm sure Satan smiles up to them fondly as they spew hate in the name of Christ.
Christ loves you, God loves you. God made you and He doesn't make mistakes.

If you don't practice the act, you are not guilty of the sin. Abstain if you can, but I'm sure there are worse sins than homosexuality, so be the best person you can in other respects if you truely cannot abstain. Don't let anyone tell you "One or the other" because ALL CHRISTIANS SIN in some way or another. If that is your way, oh well, it is still discouraged, but I think there are other sins that should be discouraged before homosexuality.

I think most people here have an agenda "come out" or "become a true christian." You probably are not ready to try out for either. Give yourself some time and be patient. Evaluate all your choices and take the one you believe is best. Good luck.

Im going to direct you to Two Post I have posted b4 and I hope you read them all the way through.
I as a religious Homosexual have a bunch of beleifs. I LOVE GOD with my HEART, BODY, and SOUL. I know he is a great and loving God ever merciful and understanding. I was BORN Gay I did not choose to be this way. I prayed for him to change me and he didnt. And after a while of thinking " God has abandoned me" I realized he didnt change me becaus ehe created me and he makes no mistakes. As any loving Father would he wants all his kids to be happy. Since I am one of his children I know the same applys for me. I found a man that I am in love with we are engaged and we are living together. I think God reads my heart and knows I am a good person. And since God is the reader of hearts and judges mostly on heart conditions Im hoping he understands me and will do what he has to with me in the time of judgement. Either way it is not in my power.
Now as far as m y belef in MAN. ITs small very, very small. Man has grown so arrogant and has interpreted the bible in so many different ways in order to control the masses. I mean MAN has used the bible to do some pretty bad things. I mean Thousands of Women and Homosexuals were burned at stakes and accused of being Witches. ALl in Gods name with a bible in hand.
African Americans, Jews, adn other ethnicities were lynched while people had their bible in hands and took pictures by the hanging bodies. Swearing they were doing some kind of Gods work.
Bible thumpers have used the bible to support the unconstitutional lack or civil rights for women and Blacks. Men have controled so much. ANd now that there has been ammendments and women and blacks have more rights the major minority is us the homosexuals. And dont get me started on the homosexuals who are Black or Women its double the crap for them.
I say live and let live. I try my best not to judge anyone. I let God do that. Why? Because to do otherwise would be lacking in faith that he can rid the world of the things that are bad. I know he will. I dont have to agree with my neighbor but I do have to love him like I love myself, I do have to do on to him as I would like him to do unto me. This si what alot of Christians dont get today and dont practice. They follow and pick and choose what it is they want to from the bible. It doesnt work that way. SOme may feel Im radical and dead wrong, but again Leave me and the rest of the homo's in God hands and worry about yourself. If anything wonder WHY you hate it so much? IT doesnt effect you in any way! Two men living together or getting married will never ever effect you at all. Gay is not something you catch or choose.
This is why i feel the bible is misinterpreted or written By MAn in some cases. Maybe these men went wrong in their writings. I Mean they are imperfect men. Look at Moses he didnt even enter the PROMISE LAND, because he messed up. It is possible they misinterpreted their prophetic dreams or what God was trying to tell them. Most Gays I know Were not abused, were not raised by all women. They were born this way they have these natural impulses. They refuse to lie to themselves and bed a women for society's sake. So How can I as a homosexual go to god in prayer and love knowing he doesnt accept me and I am an abomination to him. This doesnt sound like the Loving all emrcifula dn sincere God I know. The one Jesus Preached about. Man has a big influence on what is taught to the masses. Thats what the Sagucees and Pharicees were doing b4 Jesus came down and let them have it.

Oh boy. Well you'll suffer a lot from your Christian brothers and sisters. You';ll probably dump that at some point, too. Meanwhile, you won't be able to fight your nature, so find a college in & around L.A., San Francisco, Santa Cruz...

According to that guy, there is no future. The ice caps are melting and we're in a shitload of trouble. Being gay will be the least of your problems. Finding food will be the formost of them. That's the future. Did I scare you? I scared me.

You can still hold to whatever belief system you wish. If you believe, than you must believe your God knows who His people are. If you are not allowed to be who you are, the way your God made you, than you will never be able to experience all of the emotions you are entitled too.
Don't allow yourself to regret life, enjoy it NOW. There are no do-overs.
