I got my tragus pierced around 5 months ago and it doesn't hurt and it's not red or anything but there's a little bump on the outside of the piercing. There used to be one on the back too but it went away. It's not discharging anything but I'm not sure if this is an infection or if it will go away as I continue cleaning it with sea salt and saline solution. Anyone know?

The cleaning may be causing the problem! Once a piercing is healed your normal daily bath or shower is enough.Extra cleaning may irritate the skin. You say sea salt and saline solution-saline IS a salt solution,so you are using an irritating hypertonic solution as well. With no discharge, redness or tenderness I can positively say it's not infected.

A pierced tragus can take anywhere from two months to one year to fully heal. Like any other external piercing, it should be cleaned several times daily with a solution of warm water and non-iodized sea salt or a pre-mixed saline solution (like contact lens cleaner), and a mild antibacterial or antimicrobial soap. Harsh sterilizers like hydrogen peroxide, iodine, betadine and rubbing alcohol should be avoided as they promote scarring. Many piercers instead recommend applying tea tree oil to the site with a cotton swab; doing so can also help treat and prevent keloids forming. Tea tree oil can cause allergic reactions; if this occurs use should be stopped.

it's probably just scar tissue. If it hurts at any point, it may be getting infected - but sounds okay to me.
