To get hair straight without flat ironing or using chemicals go and buy some setting lotion it is clear and has the consistency of well....for lack of a better example....snot. Wash your hair and while it is still wet apply the setting lotion liberally then comb your hair around your head, sort of like a swirl until it looks like your head has been in a tornado ( I am being totally serious, I know this sounds silly, but it is for real) you can use those clips the silver ones with the finger holds on the end to clip your hair down and then put on a drying cap attached to a dryer or sit under a dryer (like the ones at beauty shops) and let dry, you can not use a regular blow dryer as it will blow your hair everywhere, you can also just wrap your head in a silk cloth after combing it in a circle around your head and applying clips to keep hair in place ( silky cloth so that it doesnt grab on sheets and pillowcases while your sleeping and come off) and go to bed and let it dry while you sleep. But if you are like me and sleep like a wild person, this may not work. plus those silver clips are hard to sleep on...ouch! Which ever way you chose, when you comb it out your hair will be straight and the setting lotion does not leave a residue or anything. You can get this done pretty cheaply at a salon a "Set and Dry" if you want to see how it is done before you attempt it at home. The results last for a while too as long as you do not get it wet. Good luck.

Ok I am gonna give this a shot. My ex is a hair stylist and she has somewhat curly hair. When she wanted it to be straight she used this thing called a flat iron. Kind of like a curling iron but it clamps straight down around your hair and you just pull down like your ironing clothes. Seemed to work pretty good for her.

go to the hair dressers, and get your hair chemically straightened. it may cost a little bit, but you will have dead straight hair till it grows our and gets cut off.
or i have the bead head stuff. its a green tygle and you put it in your hair when its wet, and blowdry your hair, your hair will be much straioghter, but not dead straight.
i say chemically straightening coz the chemicals make the particles in the hair move and streach. THE BEST! im getting it done soon
