mutually as I even have not something against the style, i think of the plethora of names can substitute into overly divisive and unhelpful. Gardnerian and Alexandrian are the two Traditions - the closest difficulty we would desire to denominations. There are very particular standards to using one in all those word to your self (particularly, you may choose to be initiated with the aid of the corresponding coven). those words have diverse meanings and are as a result useful. Eclectic shows all non-Traditionalists. That branch is rather important in understanding's somebody's WIccan prepare. yet what the heck is eco-friendly Wicca? Fae Wicca? Celtic Wicca? a lot of human beings call themselves "Celtic Wiccan" in the event that they shop on with Celtic gods. Is that needed? learn 2 human beings interior of this unfastened definition, and you may discover they have particularly not something in user-friendly different than very known WIccan ideals: they'd be using diverse rituals and diverse instruments of correspondances, following diverse gods, etc. So is the term somewhat helpful? i don't think of so. heavily, I have no thought what "eco-friendly Wicca" could propose. And Fae Wicca...is that in basic terms Wicca with the aid of somebody who believes in fairies? i believe interior the super Bang. could I call what I prepare super Bang Wicca?

I'd try attending a coven meeting or other social event. The best way to talk in person with other Wiccans would be to meet with them on their turf.
I will list a bunch of pages where you can locate others that are Wiccan/Pagan.

What type of questions do you have? I am a solitary ( have been for over 15 years ) and I don't mind recommending some beginner books, being able to speak about feelings is never easy, so please know I am sincere. You don't have to type them here if it makes you uncomfortable- email me at: sekhmets.prodigy@gmail.com Hope to hear from you, if you feel like doing so. And don't take any crap about it being demonic or religious- some say that who are afraid of opening their hearts to something they couldn't possibly comprehend, let alone understand.

I will tell you this, STAY AWAY from it. Any kind of practice such as wicca is the work of satan and it is witchcraft, and God hates witchcraft. Alot of younger people get into it because they think it's cool or that they can belong to a religion that does not make you follow God's laws in the Bible. It is a very dangerous game! Your life will become a living disaster! You are worshiping satan without your knowledge by the spells and calling upon deities which are really just demons that work for satan, who by the way hates you and wants you to turn away from God. I know this because I use to practice wicca. My life was a miserable disaster! The more protection spells I did the worse things started to get. At first wicca seemed to be the only way to go. It was really getting into it when all the bad started to happen. Because my Christian in-laws were kind enough to step in and show me that I was ruining my life and my afterlife, I got away from it. I burned all my tarot cards, wicca books, spell books, pentagrams, etc. and turned to God for help. I became a born again Christian and now have Jesus to save me from sin. There is no stone, spell, or any kind of chant no matter what kind of circle of protection you stand in that is strong enough to protect you from the evil power of satan. Only God can protect you. I pray that you will not turn to satan and practice his filthy witchcraft, but instead turn to God.

See if you can answer this one question before you start to practice wicca.
Why do you need to stand in a protection circle and wear stones for protection and why are ones who practice wicca so afraid of angering the deities?
You don't have to do any of this when talking to God, as He does not get angry, but instead God loves you and will answer your prayers and bless you with so much kindness.

Watch out for Wicca. We are too far removed as an industrial nation to really get waht it's trying to say. Watched my friend go down that road and get all sorts of messed up. Not like I tried to understand it all myself, but watch out. It doesn't translate well into our times, and people do odd and dangerous things when they are misinformed.

I would strongly recommend you check out http://www.witchvox.com as it contains MANY resources to look into. You can check by your locale and find local Pagans/Wiccans, covens, priests, priestesses, et al. It was a bit tricky for me to navigate first, but it is definitely worth investing your energy into.

I'd stay away from Wicca. It's a scary thing to get into.
