yeah im not sure about the book or verse but it is about onan and it is in the old testament. Onan marries his brother's widow, as was customary at the time, and God tells him to have relations with her, I believe, so that she will bear children. He has relations with her, but does not spill his seed inside of her because she would then get pregnant and could bear a son that would become the heir of all of Onan's brothers land and things. Onan would then lose all of this so he decides to spill his seed outside of her. Needless to say, God doesnt like this and Onan is actually killed.
I believe christians use it as scriptural proof of the sinfulness of masturbation.

Well, I don't know, but the notion of not wasting it is common, especially in Eastern (Hindu?) thought.
Now, back in the day, the Jews (and Christians) needed to increase their ranks. Even the bastard son of a whore was someone who could fight for their rights!!!
It seems that all old societies had rules about not intermarrying, not being gay, not holding the populaiton growth back.
We don't need to do that anymore.
We're mixing everybody up, freely discussing masturbation, permitting abortion, and opening society to the notion of gay rights/marriage!
Because there's too darned many of us!
That's why.

I'd like to know what's bad about masturbations. The only reason the Bible says anything about this is because it's a helluva lot harder to get new adult converts than to brainwash children from birth. Also, in most religions anything that gives you physical pleasure is bad.

I am not sure of the chapter and verse but it should be in the part where God strikes Onan down for not getting his brothers widow pregnant.
edit; genesis 38. Not your exact words but the idea is there.
So Tamar the wife puts herself as a temple whore where her father inlaw, Judah, is going past and gets pregnant by him instead.

What you are referring to is a misquote of this passage:
Gen 38:9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled [it] on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

I think the reason you can't find that particular scripture is because it is written in the ancient book of "Ithurtwo0-thy-aspule_a#@iturioto_hey_thick_heads_damn_apes.crude.sh@t.swill/go. to._everlasting.destiny/dumbhicks/obtuse/
