My daughter is just about 2 and a half she has only ever vomitied three times before. tonight she has vomited at least a dozen we have a spot bot to clean up the mess but she has vomited just about everywhere in the house we have run out of cleanser. Is there a easy way I can get her to vomit in a bucket or toilet.

it sounds like she has stomach flu. tell her that when she feels as if she is going to throw up to go to the bathroom and vomit in the toilet or you could give her a bucket to keep at her side.

Why are you so concerned about if she can vomit in the bucket or toilet instead of thinking about taking her to the doctor? Hmm...which one sounds more reasonable? If you do go to the doctor...take a bucket along with you just in case she vomits in the car and tell the Doctor everything she has been going thro and they'll take some tests and you'll get the results. God bless your baby :)

Ask/talk to her about using a bucket or small dish, my 2 and a half year old asks for a bucket if she feels sick. (she did watch her sister vomit her way through chemo though) Take her to see a medical professional, you can get medication/injection to stop vomiting and nausea. It would be good to get her checked out, sounds like a stomach bug but it could be somehting else. (I recently was admitted to hospital, dehydrated, they thought it was a stomach bug turned out to be chicken pox) Then you can get some fluids into her, littlies dehydrate so quickly

If she is that sick someone should be watching her at all times. So next to the bed or wherever she is have a small trash can handy. You can pretty much tell when she's going to vomit. I hope you took her to the doctor because too much vomiting could lead to dehydration.

I would be less concerned about where she vomits, and MORE concerned about why she's vomiting this much for this long! Be sure to give her plenty of fluids...Pediasure, Gatorade, water...so she doesn't dehydrate...NO MILK. If this continues...contact the doctor or hospital. When your child is better, the stores will be open and you can get more carpet cleaner or have the carpeting steam cleaned professionally

if she is able to tell you when she is about to be sick, ask her to tell u she needs to go to the toilet to get sick, my daughter did this about a week or 2 ago, she was really sick throwing up and she told me when she needed to go to the toilet... she the same age as urs.

do u know whats causing her to vomit? when my daughter was sick, we thought it was just a bug, but , when she got a high fever of 103.5 we took her to the doctors, they gave her medicine to reduce her temp and gave her medicine, the next day she pooped out a button! that is what was makign ehr sick, it must've got lodged in her system, so if u dont know what is making her sick, take her in, ask them to take an X-ray....

you had better get her to the emergency room. That much vomiting can lead to bad dehydration and possibility of dying.

I don't think that you can get her to throw up in a garbage or toilet but you may want to try having her throw up in a large bowl. I had my 2 yr old do that because he refused to throw up in the garbage. I got him to throw up in the toilet but that's because I had to put him in front of it and tell him that it was okay to do it.
