Let’s face it; Christmas is based from a pagan holiday twisted to Christianity. Religiously speaking, what are the pagan symbols in Christmas? For example, I remember learning what the Christmas tree is supposed to mean, I won’t say exactly, but it was very sexual in nature. What else do you know?

I’m not saying that paganism is bad or evil, just that there are pagan symbols that mean certain things in Christmas.

I might as well say it, worse has been in these forums. A Christmas tree is ever green always pointing upward, with presents underneath. Just like a male erection….(fliching)OK, ok, bring on the reports…….

Mistle toe is druidic

Holly berries is based from witchcraft - they use the wood of holly trees to make wands

the gift giving comes from greek paganism, on Dec. 25 they'd honor the greek sungod Helios/Apollo with gift giving

Yule tree/yule log - comes from germanic paganism Arianism from the yule god (phallic worship)
So those who love their christmas tree, centuries ago the arians would have saw a tree like that as a giant penis!!

there's just to many to mention

The Yule tree became the Christmas tree (supposedly, it's a phallic symbol, but it really just symbolizes general fertility of nature). There is also the Yule log that is ritually burned to symbolize passage of events. Wreaths are also very Pagan by their nature; they are circular, and many circular patterns have arcane magickal meanings.

Christmas tree is not a "sexual" symbol...it stayed green during the winter when most other trees lost their leaves and appeared "dead" thus the tree was a symbol of life. The Madonna and Child are old symbols going all the way back to Isis and Horus. Mistletoe is sacred to the druids.
