Did you listen to what he said about drug runners? The Minutemen are a little shaky, maybe, but they've done one good thing, which is raise public awareness that yes, there's an immigration problem.

To my mind, illegal immigration is symptomatic of global growth.
For all the talk about globalization, one thing that doesn't get mentioned is that today, with 6.5 billion people in the world, we're chewing through resources faster than most people can conceptualize. Be it trees, be it fresh water, oil, minerals, you name it, it's getting consumed at a high, high rate. We live in a Changed World from 1960, even just 1980. And, that rate of change is itself accelerating. Some have forecast that there might be 9 or 10 billion people in the world just 4 short decades from now. More people, more cars, more cities, more resources being consumed, more pollution, more overcrowding, read about the problems in Mexico City and in other cities in other countries that face massive population growth. The pro-growth advocates have a much different vision for america than the one that most people IN america would be happy with. I say 'go green', park the car, don't believe the hype, and tune out the pro-illegal rhetoric.
Remember that Mexico really really really wants free and open access to the United States. Also remember that that might not be such a hot idea....

No, I haven't. However, to McNeil, NO, America does NOT belong to EVERYONE. America only belongs to the LEGAL citizens of the USA.

The Minutemen are a bunch of cowards. I have seen the video and its disgusting. America belongs to everyone, not just misguided individuals who claim to speak for America when in fact they don't.
