I live in Illinois Governer Daily and his chronies will never let Illinois go CCW.
P.S. Governer Daily is actually Mayor of Chicago but most of what happens in this state is influenced by him. The actual Governer is worthless.

That would be unConstitutional. We've had enough of that.

Getting a concealed carry permit in Utah will get your permitt honored in about 28 states now. If we don't get a national concealed carry law, it won't be long before the one in Utah is honored in most states (28 is more than half of 50 already) however there is no way every state will go for it. Calif and NY and New Jersey will all go against any federal rule. I'm sure there are others. I live in Idaho and have a permit in Utah. In fact it has become a problem for them in Utah because they are getting flooded with out of state applications. They are talking about charging more. As for the fellow above who decided that was unconstitutional, he may have a point. The second ammendment is the only one that requires a permit. What ever would the New York Times do when they require a permit for the use of the first ammendment? Just wondering.

No, this is NOT likely to happen, because of ultra liberal states like Illinois, New York, California, etc. In San Francisco, there was talk about stipping firearms away from off duty policemen? Under these terms, a man/woman would have to be crazy to remain a police officer.

Although I would love to see it,

The laws in Ill are not constitutional in my view point and should be found that way by the supreme court

Yes. But I would be afraid of what it might contain or prohibit.

I'm happy with my current state's law.

It'd be nice. I'd sign a petition for that kind of legislation.
