i have an old dog...[not sure how old...i got her long time ago off the streets] and recently shes been throwing up in the morning. not everyday but sometimes...not alot either. is it because shes old? or is it because of something worse? i feed her dry food morning and evening....and occationally treat her with left over bones[not chicken bones] or other left over meats.
please help THNX!

You should probably take her to the vet for a good check up to make sure everything is working the way it should.
The solution could be as simple as changing her food to something designed for senior dogs with sensitive tummies.
But get her checked first. Good luck!

I don't think it is a good idea to give them any bones except doggy biscuit bones. This could be the problem, there are so many things it is hard to say. I know mine on occasion goes out and eats grass to throw up when she has a belly ache. If you see other problems or she starts to throw up more or doesn't stop throwing up. I would take her to the vet. Look for bone fragment in the throw up and see if this could be the trouble. good luck.

I would stop feeding her table food. You may also want to get her to the vet if this happens on a frequent bases. Maybe try changing her food, get small bags to begin with. I'd get her to the vet though, they can tell you whats going on better than anyone on yahoo. Poor doggy, good luck!

in the older dog bad kidneys or bladder will make them throw up, it would be best for the dog to get a check up at the vets

She could be sick, I would take her to the vet to rule it out just in case.
