Twizzler lovers are STUPID. They don't even have the proper licorice consistency. Blah.

RED VINES, baby. Holla.

From a medical veiwpoint, licorice should be eaten in small amounts or avoided altogether (especially black licorice). It contains a chemical called glycyrrhizic acid and may cause many side affects such as pseudo-aldosteronism, paralysis associated with low potassium levels (especially if eaten while taking digoxin), electrolyte abnormalities, and cardiac dysrythmias. It should never be eaten while one is pregnant or breastfeading because it alters hormone levels. So, if one must eat licorice, be aware of the health risks first.
