Without a dought there is a age of accountability. That is not the age of accountability that most of us tend to refer to. All men are born in sin. Children are not accountable to sin and the effects. The age you are refering too I believe is this. The age at which the charge of sin is laid against us. Actually many children do come to that age, The actually time only God Knows. But there is also another age of accountability spoke of in Hebrews 6 & 10. Which is a age of accountability for the enlightened elect. And only God knows when that takes place also.

Why ask just the Christians? I'm a solitary and believe in accountability. Why? Everyone should be responsible for their actions or face consequences. If I told you I was a 35 year old female and believe in Mother Nature and have a high regard for spirituality- would it be safe to assume I would receive a thumbs down from one who is heavily into religion but doesn't wish to hear my side of the story based on experience?- I am held accountable for my actions based on the words I have written, therefore a user who feels the need to automatically do a thumb "print" is held liable for what they assume. I, however am not accountable for other's stupidity, ignorance or arrogance.

I do. Because God is LOVE and He is just. I believe that there comes a time when a person comes into their own awareness of choice and mortality. Before that, God covers their innocence and ignorance, but after they are confronted in the spirit that they have a choice, at whatever age that may be, then they are accountable. I do not believe it is a certain age, but a certain awareness.

Yes, although technically everyone is different and individual kids may get to an age of "free thinking" earlier or later, or sometimes never. But, the average age is 8 where kids start to think more for themselves and can be held accountable for their decisions.

I dont know if I believe in an "Age of Accountability" but I think once a person knows something is a sin and does it anyway, they are accountable. Dont think its an age thing really.

Yes, because I believe that we will be judged by what we know, not by what we don't know. I don't believe there is a certain age of accoutability, just whenever someone can understand the difference between right and wrong.

The True Founder of Christianity
The teachings of Paul, the true founder of Christianity, cannot be found anywhere in the teachings of Jesus or in those of prophets before him.

the age of accountability is when people realize what is right and wrong; mentally handicapped people might not ever figure that out, so its complicated

Yes, you are not old enough to understand when you are a child
We all have to grow up and take on our own responsibility
