ummmm....you can get preference when asking for time off from work during the holidays

when you are feeling blue a little baby smile can do wonders

teaches you to "go with the flow" more often than perhaps you didin the past, as children can be unpredictable

see things about yourself reflected in them, so u can see yourself more clearly, perhaps enabling you to make some positive changes

i think sometimes its difficult for some people to appreciate all the different ways that children can enrich their lives unless they are 1) the parent who is actively involved in their day-to-day life and 2) until the children can really talk, interact, and understand the world around them and thus, more fully engage the parent

they are young, i wld guess you are still adjusting...truly good luck with them...

i will tell you, i dont have any children, and only recently after starting to become very close to my niece and nephews and spend time with them every single day that i can say my attitude has changed and i can appreciate children, in general, though i havent any

so u may think im not qualified to anser this...but when i see those kids say some funny thing based ona "kid's perspective" or see their artwork, or especially just sit and have a conversation with them i walk away a bit humbled, seeing parts of myself reflected in them, and also am amazed at these little people's ability to draw you in even when you want to resist if you just sit back and truly look and listen...

and further oftentimes when spending times with kids i think about myself and what i wanted or needed as a child and the ways in which i tried to get that, and i try to provide that to the kids and hope that i ma making their lives better, happier, more fun...so theres another benefit to children...you can redeem our own past through your increased efforts with them and based on your own knowledge of the needs of children and how eagerly they seek to be understood and cared for

also, it may be a good idea to think, not about the BENEFITS of having a child, but instead what are the benefits of being a parent...children are gifts & you have been gifted with the knowledge that you have created Life...and that truly is a miraculous thing when you sit down and get real honest with yrself...the TRUE BENEFIT OF HAVING A CHILD IS THE FACT THAT YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF A PARENT...thats special...scary im sure, a huge responsibility, but truly special

good luck in yr parenting adventure....

They put you on a whole different level..
Are you feeling like they are hindering your game? Personally, if you are fickle and superficial, you will allow yourself to feel this way when you feel like your kids are blocking a pass you want to make a some woman who's walking by.
Children enrich us. Children turn us in to self controlled civil beings. And They teach us true unconditional love. So, you need to dig deeper, my friend and stop being so selfish, and don't take out on those sweet innocents, how you may have been burned by their mother. You've been officially checked!

well some girl don't like it because a man have kids because they know there are a mother somewhere and they don't want to get mixed up with that. the way you are talking like you don't want kids you want to run after women.
