I think you're correct, but not for the reasons you've stated.
As it is written: "You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. They will hold to an outward form of godliness but deny its power. Stay away from such people." (II Timothy 3:1-5)
As others have already mentioned, there are churches that have gone beyond "tolerance," and have embraced homosexuality. But understand this, God is not mocked. We reap what we sow. There are churches that no longer obey Christ and challenge the culture around them. Instead, they let the culture change them.
They whitewash words like judgment, sin, and repentance, and tell people what they want to hear. This isn't at all surprising, either:
"For the time will come when people will not put up with healthy doctrine but with itching ears will surround themselves with teachers who cater to their own needs. They will refuse to listen to the truth and will turn to myths." (II Timothy 4:3-4)

I disagree with the idea that gays will be accepted by Christians if you are talking about real Christians.
Real Christians follow the real God and not how the general community feels about homosexuals being born that way instead of making a choice to sin against God.
Real Christians won't misunderstand God's postions against homosexual behavior no matter the population the homosexual makes up.
Faith and membership being low are seperate catagories and just a small amount of faith is enough to say to a mountain through yourself in the sea and it will do it.
When you say membership I say to what? If you mean the real members of the family of God grafted into the vine through Jesus Christ I say we already know many will parish and few will be saved. Someone saying I belong to this church denomination or that one means NOTHING. Belonging to Jesus Christ though means everything. There is no such thing as a homosexual Christian.
The Vatican doesn't have real christians in it. Anyone who becomes a christian in the catholic church will soon come out of that church or stay in it and depart from faith in the only one who can save anyone, Jesus Christ who is called the Word of God.
The Vatican already has a currupt bible. Every english bible accept the AKJV bible is a perversion version and should be treated as such.
In your understanding of what you have written though I see how such a thing could happen. It will never happen though with a real Christian.
If you haven't read the AKJV HOLY BIBLE cover to cover at least once or it has been a while you need to do that now instead of this.

I don't think Catholic Christians will ever accept gays even if they need the money. It does not matter if the population attending church these days is down. Their faith is strong. ( Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.) Only a man and woman can be of one flesh. However, there are other religions which do not look at gay couples in the same way. Which is another of the reasons for the decline in the Catholic faith...as well as all the bad publicity. Being gay does not mean being accepted by the peers of your faith. If that is the case you are not following the Christian faith. Just as there are many different religions, there are many variations of the Christian faith. Many feel we are all equal in the eyes of God. The words in the Bible have been manipulated for the past 1500 years to fit what ever "Christian based" religion they wanted to make up and it will continue to be manipulated and (I love this excuse) "Updated". Why do you thing the book "the Da Vinci Code" was such a big seller? All around the world? Gay or not, believe what is in your heart and follow God's word. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

I don't believe homosexuals need the approval of the vatican to validate their existence.
It's not like the vatican can change their views and say "homosexuals can now go to heaven." If Christians believe homosexuals can't go to heaven, then it wouldn't make sense for them to change that, as if the rules to get into heaven changed. I don't see such a change occuring. I hope it does, but I don't see it happening.
Homosexuals are people just like anybody else. As long as they're good people, they shouldn't let it bother them when the church tells them they're an abomination. If I was a homosexual, to the church I'd say, "f*** 'em."

Yes, that is true. Some false Christians already consider being gay perfectly consistent with the word of God. They accept the theory that people are born gay. They misunderstand the words of Jesus. They don't understand His message of love nor of salvation. They don't understand that Jesus is God. They don't understand that God is not a liar. There are many deceived in the "Christian" flock, and this flock will only grow.
Look around...what was once moral, good, right and Godly is now looked on as immoral, evil, hate-mongering, homophobic, intolerant, etc. Good is being looked on as evil and evil is now looked on as good. Take a good honest look at the world around you and if you can't see that there is something seriously wrong, you have major, major issues.
The true Christians will be the believers out there in the world preaching the truth, despite the evil and lies of the world. Truth is hated and if you dare speak the truth as the unchanging word of God proclaims, you too will be hated. If you make the choice to follow God then follow Him all the way or don't follow Him at all.

I can't answer for the Catholic church because I'm not Catholic. I don't believe my church will ever condone homosexuality because regardless of what the "general community" thinks the Bible is very clear that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He isn't swayed by the popular majority and isn't concerned about being "politically correct." He destroyed entire cities for the sin of homosexuality. Sodom & Gomorrah. Perhaps you've heard of them? If He found homosexuality an abomination back then, He still sees it the same way today. There is no way that anybody who reads the Word of God and knows God's stance on this issue could ever manipulate it to seem that He condones this sin.

The question is: why do I have to believe what the Vatican says? Can`t I just make up my ow mind about the gay issue? Why does Vatican have to accept them in order for me to acept them too?
The way I see it , religion and homosexuality have nothing to do with eachother. It`s a matter of personal opinion. The Church may say whatever about gay people, I still believe that they are just ordinary people with different sexual preferences. I don`t care what they do in their own bedroom, as long as it doesn`t hurt the others.

I believe that nominal false christians will begin to accept homosexualsas christians and the lifestyle as legitimate. That's happening now, not only in the catholic church but in the protestant church. But true christians will never accept the homosexual lifestyle because the bible is clear that the homosexual lifestyle is an abomination to God. Leviticus 18:22 says "You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination". Many other verses condemn the homosexual lifestyle. But there is help. http://www.exodus-international.org/

I disagree with you. I believe that some people are born homosexuals, but there are some who choose to be. Homosexuality in itself is not a sin. The sin is acting on it, taking part in homosexual activity. The Vatican doesn't manipulate the words of the Bible to meet its needs. The Vatican is lead by the Holy Spirit in matters of faith, but the word of the Bible aren't changed. Homosexual acts will never be accepted by the Catholic Church.

the problem with your wondering is that you do not have self belief there's a God in Heaven, nor in Christ, nor contained in the note of God because the note of God. in case you seem into it in sincerity you'll discover each and every of the solutions that are contained therein as something it rather is complete to respond to the fundamentals about major themes. in spite of the indisputable fact that in case you do not have self belief contained in the note of God then not something i will say or any others can say because you gained't come to the note of God with the help of religion. i ought to handle all of your concerns yet why? once you do not have self belief it to be what that's. You position self belief in adult men not in God, you've faith in what adult men inform you not what God says, you've faith extra on your individual ideas than a thanks to have a good relationship with God. the final analysis is this the Bible is the absolutely reality of our Salvation and Jesus is the absolutely author of Salvation the position with the help of lets nicely be kept from this evil technology. So it isn't a mater of what you imagine, yet what God instructions you to have self belief.
