I bought a car yesterday and I think I have now made the wrong choice out of the two cars I was choosing from. Can I trade it in for the other one even though I have put 120 miles on it? Do I have any option for getting the other car?

Just to clarify. I am not looking for a refund and I am willing to pay for the miles. It is a brand new car and only had 20 miles on it when I got it. Now there is 150. I work far from home and that is what made the miles.

Ask your local citizens advice/ consumers advocacy, as many countries have a cool-down period on cars. The dealer wont normally help u tho, but if the car u want is at the same shop, you may be in luck. Call your salesman first, then if no joy, go the other option.

i belive you can but the value of the car has gone drastically down even though its only been a day.... you drove it off the lot and also put way too many miles on it too fast!!

There are some dealerships that have a 72 hour or even one week swap of vehicles in their policy. Call them to find out.

you can bring it back to the dealer and offer it as a trade in and maybe he'll cut you a break but there's nothing short of a judge that will make them refund your money on the basis of "it's not what I wanted" in my opinion...

it depends on the dealer, some will take them back and charge you mileage and a return charge and then they may use it as a demo etc.just talk to the dealer.
