My friends are always joking with me about it- I know they don't mean any insults, but sometimes they over do it, and no matter how many times I tell them to stop, they just say it's a joke and that I take thigns to literally.

I mean- they've had thousands of boyfriends before them I guess, but I kind of feel out of place among my friends. It's not that I want to fit in with the rest of the crowds, but it just feels weird.

How can I evade the joking? My friends are really nice friends- just with joking. I like joking, laughing, humor, but you know when things go across the line? They just keep on saying I take things to seriously.

It's a big world out there. You can keep those friends and make others if you want. That way you can hang out with a different crowd when you feel you need a change for a while or a break from the dynamics of of your current relationships with your friends. Maybe you can find some more supportive friends. Maybe those are not truly your type of people. There are so many different types of people. You will be happiest with people that are more like you. You will probably have better luck finding a guy you like and or that likes you amongst those you feel the most comfortable with and fit in with. Remember, popularity means nothing if you are not happy with it or in trying to get it.

No your not taking things to seriously. If you have a problem with that need to stfu and realize that their joking makes you uncomfortable, tell them to stop firmly and if they dont then just walk away they'll come around. Cause I mean really what kind of friends are they if theyre constantly making you feel uneasy Cause you've never had a bf. Actually you've got it good lol theyre too much work anyway

Let your friends know that this is really bugging you and tell them how you feel. You really don't need a boyfriend just because all of your friends do. You will find one when you aren't even expecting it. So, talk to your friends and honestly tell them that it is really bugging you and that you don't appreciate what they are doing. If they don't understand and keep it up, then they really aren't good friends to begin with and I then think it's time to move on and find a different group of friends to hang out with. You really don't need a boyfriend to be happy.

Next time they bring up the boyfriend thing say something like this "You guys mention that a lot, I think you care more about it than me. It's really not that big of a deal to me, so it shouldn't be for you either." Be nice, but firm about it. It's not their concern, and it's hurting your feelings. Enough is enough. If you're non confrontational, maybe just email one of them and let them know you're tired of the same old joke.

Just tell them you're picky. Also, I don't know how old you are, but make sure you find a nice guy for your first boyfriend. I actually think it's a lot easier for girls to have not had a relationship, many guys find that charming, but make sure you don't just date someone to say you have a boyfriend. Bad guys can really take advantage of those naive ones.

It is better to end up getting married and being happy or having a long-term live-in relationship than it is to sleep around and have lots of boyfriends. Do not be fooled by some of these girls. Some of them are easily used and abused, if you get what I mean. Trust me, they will be lying to their future husbands about the number of partners they have and they won't be proud. They might even lose the guy.

Well, first you have to be content with yourself. And realize that if they were really your "friends" they would stop doing whatever it is thats hurting you.

Are you looking for a boyfriend??? If not, let them know you enjoy being single, you enjoy your freedom.

Another point...they are probably envious, that they have to schedule their lives around their significant others..while you can do what you want at the drop of a dime.

Try explaining this too them deeply like you did here.If they were real friends, they will try to understand. But at the same time, some people do get overoffensive when things are being said about them. I do personally.
