Ok I think you mean meditating.
To maximize mediating you need to understand chankras and the energy associated with them. When you understand them, you need to be able to focus the flow of energy through them and the world around you... from the earth to the universe. Your mind must not be empty as most would think but it must be focused upon one single thought (I have learned this through ninjutsu zen meditation). You have to sit with your spine as upright but normal as possible (no slouching). Then learn to breathe, using a meditative word... some of these words include Om, Ahrmn and Amen. These are uttered not spoken but as your voice makes only one sound and it modified using your mouth. You have to do proper cyclic breathing; in through your nose and out through your mouth, slowly and under control, holding it between each change of breathing.

Once you are doing this.... you have to use visualization techniques to feel the flow of energy from the earth flowing up through each chakra, mixing and energizing it to proper functioning and then into the universe when it reaches the crown chankra. Then golden energy from the universe returns back down through your body starting at the crown, revitalizing all succeeding chakras.

It takes practice to do it properly and unconsciously.

Meditating is very easy.. you just have to adjust your mind a litle bit.
Firstly you should sit up straight and never in a sleeping posture because you will definitely go to sleep.
ONce you are in a good UPright position, try and keep your mind EMPTY. This is very difficult in the beginning as one or the other thought keeps coming, ONe method is you just keep ignoring the thoughts as they come, like you would ignore an annoying co-worker.
If this does not work another method is keep counting your breaths as you breathe. IT keeps your mind free and smooth.

Meditating is the best of all mental excercises. It will keep your health at its best and your mood all afresh. Your stress will be greately reduced. Also, you should try meditating before you go for work. That is the best time to meditate.

Did you mean to say "meditate" and not "medicate," or was this meant as a joke?

There is nothing more to meditation than sitting quietly and listening to your own head. Well, other people have specifics they use, but this is enough. Straighten your spine, close your eyes, put your hands and arms in a relaxed position, and try to listen to the inside of your head, ignoring things outside yourself. Don't worry; your emergency alarms will still be in place, and you will not be caught "napping" by some serious threat. You are not asleep, but contained within yourself.

medicate or meditate? anyway, u cna do that by finding yourself in a quiet or peaceful place and thinking of nothing.. forget about the things you did, the reports or appointments you had. just think of nothing, rest for a while and do depp breathing. ..

Your question is too vague. What do you mean by medicating?
