Don't be obvious. You want the sexual tension to build naturally. You have to start off by talking to him more and casually flirting with him when you get the chance to. Ask him to have a cup of coffee with you where you two can sit down and talk to each other. Act playfully. Make sure he sees that you are a fun gal, looking for none other than some fun. Then after he gets more comfortable around you, and realizes that you're fun to be around with, start flirting with him even more. But don't be too obvious. You want to make him want you. Look into his eyes seductively but try to look a bit detached. Appear a bit mysterious. Make him come crawling to you. Do something where you have to brush up against his shoulder, and feel how intense the sexual tension is. That minor contact with your body will entice him. Then when you feel like you have him, go for it. He'll forget about his friend and focus only on you...at least for the time being ;-)

What's wrong with direct and slutty? Seriously. You're both adults...there's no room for games. You could try being coy or dropping hints, but I hate to say it, guys can be really oblivious/dense and it sounds like a huge waste of time to me. The best thing to do is start small with some touching. If he's okay with that move on to caressing. If he doesn't resist caressing, try a little kiss. If kissing is a "go" then try a sexier kiss. Once you're at the French kissing point, you're pretty much in. Let him know how steamy you're feeling by making little moaning noises to let him know you're turned on. Heavy breathing and squirming around like you can barely stand it will really get him going. If you think you can pull it off, try an OOPS! accidental brush against his crotch to see if he's got anything hard going on down there. If he does - you're in - go for it!

(again, practice in the mirror first). and of course, lingering touches on a guy's fingers, removing an imaginary dirt on his cheek followed by a naughty smile with one eyebrow slightly raised. good luck!
