Smirnoff Vodka and Lillet bitters as opposed to classic vermouth if you read the books if you watch the films the Bond martini depend on the culture and was usually poured from a carafe marked VODKA and a slight listed vermouth - branding was not as important in the films as the products did not pay for endorsement.
