My best friend got taken away from her family. Her stepdad is crazy and my friend is home schooled. Her step dad did NOT WANT HER TO BE HOMESCHOOLED!!! Her dad also HATES HER OLDER BROTHER. So he called Difus. He told them that Her brother was sexually mallesting her younger sister. He thought that all they would do was take her brother to jail and they wouldn't let her be home schooled anymore. His plan back fired and they took the her and her little sister to foster care. Her mom used to have a mental problem but by the grace of God, she was healed. But the court held that against her. They treated her mom like she was crazy and her step dad like he was a god. Now she is back in the WORST SCHOOL IN THE STATE and even if she gets to go back home, she's not gonna be home schooled. Her mom said that when and if she gets her back, they were gonna move to another state!!! I'll probably never get to see her again. Please help me deal with this situation and also please pray for her.

My daughters are both in group homes and seperated 12 and 13. I had them taken from me 6 years ago because of an abusive relationship. I was abused! Then when they got taken they were placed in an abusive foster home. After reporting it they were placed with their fathers sister that was abusive in the past and even though I told the judge that, they stayed there awhile and were again abused. Soon I will have my daughters back home! It took a long time for me to learn to accept the things that I had no control over. I became a very heavy drinker when they took my kids and it made everything worse. Now that I have my life back together I will get them back but it has been a very long and hard road. Everything happens for a reason. I believe that now they are safer than they were in the past and sometimes that is the goal that the state does actually accomplish. I think that anyone who falsely accuses someone of molestation is so wrong and that poor boy will have to live with that his whole life. The big picture here is that these kids need stability and the school that they attend is not the main concern. I think that you may be able to stay in touch with the girl through the mail if you make sure she has your address. Have Faith and everything will be ok!

Poor sweethearts, what do you say? I hope everything turns out okay. Listen, you are an eyewitness to everything, you are a valuable player in this situation. You wanna deal with it?
Get out a pen and paper and write a letter to the judge, it's called swaying. They say it doesnt work, but it's helped me a ton. You need to write a 3 paragraph letter with some words that hit like a ton of bricks.
The first paragraph should be about 2 incidents where you have seen the abuse,
The second, about how it is affecting her, her schoolwork and relationships
The third about how sickening it is to see DYFUS let kids fall through the cracks like out in New Jersey and in New York APS,
You will need to state the individual incidents that happened. (for new york, nyjounalnews.com, type in child abuse-) Say how you dont want to lose someone who is like a sister and state a situation in which she helped.
Include this line "Please, Your Honor, don not let another innocent person be in danger of more abuse and neglect, please save my bestfriend."

Before you begin, say a prayer and tell God that you need his help and you have faith in the fact that one day, such situations will no longer exist. okay? And really believe that.
You'll all be in my heart and prayers.

From personal experience I know your pain. My friend was just like that. Her dad died and her mom stole somehting and they had to move. If she does go away, you should keep in touch and use the extra money to send her a christmas and birthday gift to show her that you remember. Maybe throw her a going away party with all your friends before she leaves, and just cry as much as you want. Your friend needs to be conforted, so do as best as you can.

Your question is very sophisticated and you are quite articulate. I recommend using those skills to write a detailed account as to what has transpired and talk to your parents and since you mentioned praying, talk to your church as well.
