i want to get a tatoo on the bottom of my foot! any recommendations??

I think it would be a good idea, but from what I've read, it's not a very viable place to get a tattoo. The ink doesn't set very well, and you'll end up with a very blotchy tattoo, or one that almost completely disappears.

The bottom of your foot is one of the most tender areas of your body. Plus, if you get a tattoo on the bottom of your foot, you probably won't be able to walk on it for a few days - maybe even a week. So, think about that...

Personally, I wouldn't get a tattoo on the bottom of my foot - soley (no pun intended) for the the reason that I need to get around, and I don't have a week to take off of work to keep off my feet just because of a tattoo. If you are trying to keep it concealed - out it on your butt, of in the middle of your back (6 or so inches above the small of your back)

Good luck finding an artist that will tattoo the bottom of your foot. Why would you want to get one there anyways? It's really not practical and no one will ever see it. Better get the top of your foot done instead.

I would not recommend a tat on the sole of my foot due to the risk of infection. Try the on top of your foot. And, you also have to be able to wear open shoes, if not, the moisture will be a haven for bacteria. But, if need be, a butterfly might be nice.

yeah, i hope your not tickle-ish. also if you have to be on your feet alot try to get it when you can take a few days off to let it heal properly, keep in mind the skin doesent hold ink well on that type of skin. you will most deffinatly have to get it recolored a few times to make sure it remains the way you want you want it. i wouldnt advise using color, stick to black it will show much better. andget a nice pedicure before you get the art completed to make sure youve removed all dead skin and application wil be easier. wow Ive got tat everywhere even on my big toe, but none on the sole of my foot! Hope it works out well id be very interested to see how it would turn out

i want to get tiger stripes on the top of my ankle going down to the top of my foot to toes... bottom of foot wow great idea how about fish or snake scales..

Just so you know, the skin is different there and after a while the tat will most likely fade then almost disappear.

That's retarded. No one would see it and it would wear off rather quickly. Not to mention it is incredibly painful and difficult to tattoo. I doubt you'll find any reputable artist to do it.
