It all depend on the situation... As long as you both are under the understanding that marriage isnt what you want then yeah i guess its ok, but girls (for the most part) want to find a man they can spend the rest of their life with and we arent just looking for a "fling", why put all the time and effort in to a relationship if you plan on throwing it away after a few weeks months... even years???

Gosh, we both are in the same boat. I keep telling myself not to be involved anymore since it's not gonna be a long term thing, but hey, my self control is pretty low and still unable to do that just yet.
My best advice is not to bother to prevent headache since another person might get serious and that brings more troubles. However, how do you know it's not gonna be a long term?.

I think that is a tricky thing. I guess if you just want to have someone to go out with rather than stay home and you want to have someone to talk to it's okay to date. If each person understands the relationship is not going to progress beyond a certain point then I guess you could date. I think there's a big potential for being hurt or hurting someone though.

Yes, because you can have fun with someone even if you never get married. Dating is not about marring someone, it is about the enjoyment of another human of the opposite sex and having fun together. However you should always make sure that you are honest with who you date.

Not if you know they do want marriage. Its not right to lead them on once you know you will never give them what they want and need. They need to be free to date someone who can give them the life they desire. If they dont want marriage, go ahead.

If you are in it for fun, make sure its clear before the other one takes it to the next level. After that you could always just be friends.
