I read my boyfriends email one time and he said "thank you ,you really broke the bank for me"I dont understand what that meant. I never told him I read his email.

if hes your boyfriend you should be able to talk to each other about that kind of stuff. it means different things in different contexts. Break the bank could mean, you took all of someone money in a bet. or it could mean you did somthing extraordinary.
