We're ok friends, we talk online daily, say hi in the halls nad I've burned him a CD. Last week we kind of hung out after school because him and his friend wanted to use the school dance studio after school to practice breaking and i got the key for them because I'm on the dance team and he asked me to stay. So we chatteda lot he showed off his tricks and tried to teach me some, and showed off some of mine, hahah it was pretty fun. But the day before he was like "Ok so after school call me or something -gives number-" My friends think that means he likes me because "he wouldn't have given me his # if he didn't" but it was in a casual way though! What do you think?

Ok about your post. Laura, honey, the stage is set. It would've been easier had he asked for your number so he makes the first move, wouldn't it?? But he gave you his number instead....ahhhh. This is his way of saying he's interested in you. I don't know how high his interest level is but he definitely wouldn't give you his number if he didn't like you.
I understand it's casual but hey, do you know how serious relationships start? Casually! It's not like he's gonna say "Laura, I want you to be my gf" in the beginning right? If you don't want to call him first, meet him at school and ask "Hey do you want to hang out his weekend?" and meet him at a cafe or your house or something!!
I really hope this guy knows how much you like him. It'll be sad if he also really liked you but he's too shy. I don't know. Do you think he likes you? I think you should be the brave one and make your interest and intentions clear. How you do that is up to you....See, if you were in college, guys wouldn't be so hard to read. If I liked you, I'd say "Laura, I like you. Want to come over on Saturday?" But you guys are young.....it's kind of unfair isn't it? Ok I'm going off topic. =)

Just go with the flow don't get too attached to this guy until your certain he wants a relationship. I think he is interested but perhaps its been a long time for him aswel and he's uncertain of what to expect just like you. Give it a few days before you contact him that way you don't look too needy, and yeah defo give the hockey a go you should have a better idea of everything by the end. Basically with the information you gave, it seems like he likes you, but try calling him and play it cool and see what happens. If you have any interest in him and he has any interest in you after the call then make a decision and go for it, otherwise, the single thing you'll get out of it is a friendship, no harm.

Yes it does it meens he is trying to open another line of communicatin with you there is nothing wrong with that u already e-mail with him whats the big deal call him take it slow see what happens if nothing else you have the number of an already good friend you can all on when you just need to talk good luck

Guys get nervous, too. It was probably easier for him to give you his number in a "casual way". He's probably sitting at home hoping you'll call and wondering if he made a mistake by giving you his number. Call the poor guy!

There's not enough infomation to be certain, but he proably likes you at least a little. Is he the kind of person who is extra friendly to all girls or just to you? Feel it out a little.
