Introverts can have a lot of great qualities. Being an introvert is not a bad thing. I'm an introvert, but I am also very detailed oriented, organized, learn quickly, and am a natural leader. Just because I don't throw parties every weekend and have 4000 friends doesn't mean I'm not awesome! ;)

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, and I also don't think it's a very good thing either. I used to be an introvert (kept everything inside, didn't argue, wouldn't stand up for myself, got embarrassed easily, etc). I then changed my whole personality and became the person I have always wanted to be. I am still introverted at times, but not nearly to the extent I used to be. I now have lots more fun (I am NOT the kind to throw parties or have hundreds or thousands of friends, etc), more outgoing (extroverted), say what I want or need from others (most of the time), and joke around a lot more than I ever did before. I have been friends with someone for 32 years and she doesn't even really know me anymore! She is having to get reacquainted with me because of all of the changes I have made in my personality.

As for traits of an introvert, they can be just as awesome as an extrovert, just not as noticeable most of the time. But, I personally think that when someone is an introvert, they don't get as much joy out of life as an extrovert because they typically won't stand up for themselves, won't say what's on their minds, hold feelings inside rather than let them out, etc. At least, that's how it was for me. I ended up with more health problems because of it. I don't have them now that I have become and extrovert.

no i acutally like introverts better because they keep things to themselves (which is what i do) and extroverts blurt out everything which can get pretty annoying after awile. its much better to be quiet and reserved that loud and annoying.

just my opinion though. :)
