Really, I think it's because most men like to feel they're smarter than the woman they're dating. Some women realize this, and as you said, "dumb themselves down". Honestly, it'd make much more sense to just find a more intelligent man.

Because those women may have encountered men who couldn't handle their strong mental state of being. Those same women were not able to handle the rejection and pain it caused. So they can get the attention they want, they dumb themselves down to the point that sometimes they become what they've created.

Honey, you're not making yourself clear. Anywho, we shouldn't downgrade ourselves, if that's what you mean. It's how we're raised. We should always incourage our children to think well of themselves, after all ,ALL of us are special, as we are the only ones like us in the world. :) arum
