Never. To me, all the violence and death and destruction in this world today is totally inconsistent with the idea of a loving, benevolent God who apparently cares about his "children." It would make more sense to me if we had a deity that just isn't paying any attention or something. I cannot accept the fact that THIS is the best world that he can do.

I cannot conceive of a being of pure good just as I cannot conceive of a being or pure evil. This is why I could not conceive of a God and Goddess until I came to understand Wicca instead of a more established religion.

As a Pagan, I don't believe that we can fully conceive of Diety, Our simple minds can't comprehend the entirety of the universe. That's why there are so many allegoric or Jungian methods used.

I can conceive of a God that isn't what religion defines god to be.
