I'm divorced, 41 yrs. old, have 2 children over 18 and a grandson, whenever I meet someone I feel I can be interested in they turn around and try to make it instantly sexual. I don't dress provocatively and to be honest I'm very over weight and over 45% gray if I don't dye my hair regularly. I'm not desperate for a sexual partner.

I don't see it. I know my self-esteem is low. I see how men look at other women, I don't see that my way and really don't want to be looked at in that way. But when I meet someone the first thing they seem to look for is food and sex from me. I'm big not a big eater and sex is not first and foremost on my mind. I'm starting to believing that the guys just think I'm desperate and try to take advantage of what they think is my weakness. I don't know.

You are probably very attractive to men.

You should make your intentions clear to the men you meet if a non-platonic relationship is what you want.

Of course it might be the men you see or that are attracted to you. Best of luck.

thats because most of time thats the first thing we think about. If your intrested in someone shoot him down when he makes his proposition .If he keeps coming back he likes you for more than just the thought of having sex with you.so just change the subject and make him talk about something else.

Companionship and getting to know one another should be the first priorities. Any man that doesn't understand that probably isn't worth your time or consideration.

that must be how you portray yourself to them and they think you only want sex also. before you get into a deep conversation let them know that you're not looking for strictly sex
