Well this could be the start of a whole lot of problems, but reinstalling would proably be the best thing. Since you don't mention which DVD player software you have, it's hard to tell you what to do, but assuming you only have this file missing then do a search on google for the file name WINASPI32.dll and the word download. Try to download it and put it in the folder where your DVD software is. Then try again.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.getpchealthboost.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

shut your computer down. incert a blank audio CD after re-start up and see if your Audio CD isnt read then i would concider searching for a particular virus that attacks the sub-systems of a computer that norlamy controls information intkae either, CDR, DVD, Email, IM, USB devices etc. via internet. and if so, refrag the hard drive or in the worst case, reformat it meaning pretty much start over.

If you have any P2P client such as Lime Wire, Bear Share, Morpheus, Kazaa, etc ... try and download and install "Cyberlink Power DVD" this is one of the best dvd playing softwares available. If you are trying to play a movie you have downloaded, if it is mpg format windows media player can handle it. If it is avi. format then download Divx from www.divx.com

Go here:http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?wnaspi32. You will need a zip utility to unzip prior to install. Free and easy, how good can it get on the net?
