Miracle Whip is what in chefs' terms is known as a boiled salad dressing. In flavor it is very similar to Heinz Salad Cream, but with a texture that is thicker--closer to mayonnaise. Peanut butter is great with jam, honey, bananas, or bacon (or a combination of those).

All miracle whip is mayonaiise with a little sugar in it.( also known as salad dressing) And as far as the peanut butter with jam, it's really peanut butter with jelly sandwich. Some people do put jam on it, but most people prefer grape jelly.

Miracle Whip is a salad dressing and sandwich spread. Its inexpensive, its a common substitution for Mayonnaise in many recipes and uses.

I don't usually eat Peanut Butter with Jam, but I know you can buy different flavored Jams and I heard it tastes just like jelly with a PB & J sandwich.

Miracle Whip is similar mayonnaise, but tastes a little sweeter. I personally don't like it...and yes, Americans do eat Jam with Peanut Butter (usually on sandwiches).

Miracle Whip is not mayonnaise. As one person said, it is a salad dressing made for salads such as egg, tuna, chicken, or ham, not lettuce or other leafy salads. It does have a texture similar to that of cheap mayo.

Jam and jelly, although similar, are not the same either. In the same general category you can include preserves and marmalade. Honey and maple syrups are also seen with peanut butter. Goober Grape is one way to buy peanut butter and jelly in the same jar. Most of the people I know buy them in separate jars. I don't particularly like any of these choices together with peanut butter, but many people here do as you can see by all the "PB&J" fans.

Miracle whip is a salad dressing, sort of like mayonaisse but a bit
sweeter.
Yeah, peanut butter and jam or jelly make a great sandwich....
most of us were raised on them as kids. Some people
put banana slices in or crunched up potato chips in the
middle. Try it before you dis it.
