WHY is my first thought and then...whatever!??..would it go with the rest of the neighbourhoods colors? Do you have an association which might not let you?
Otherwise....I wouldn't but hey, why not if it makes you happy?

are you talking a shade of orange perhaps a deep color more of a Mediterranean color or a true orange because you need to consider your neighborhood age and style of your home. I t wont work with just any house style and remember painting a house is costly . Especially RE-painting a house

Yes I think it is. If you want it to really look good and stand out paint the shutters dark red.Paint your front door pink.

YES, THAT A COOL COLOR BUT YOU MAY WANT TO STICK MORE WITH A 'BURNT'/'WARM' ORANGE STAY AWAY FROM TANGERINE ORANGE.

Depends what shade, but it would probably look bad. Your neighborhood association prob. wouldn't allow it anyway.
