Everyone will start dating at a different time. It depends on the person. If your under 16 would you want your parents to drive you and your date somewhere? If you feel comfortable then that's okay. But I think 11 and under is to young.

Dating for just 'dating' sakes with no sex? Well..., what are you waiting for? DATE NOW! As long as there is no sex involved you should have been dating a decade ago...!

BUT.., as soon as you can get STD's then real 'dating' is going on! Like when you sneak home before Mom and Dad get home so you and your *Date* can be alone and you two can *Date* the living s*it out of each other- Well.., then it's no longer *dating*...
Is it?
Unless you're ugly... then you have to pay for it..

You're at the age when you'll meet people you'd like to hang out with, if someone is special enough to exclusively date you'll know, regardless of age.

I was 15 and I will let my kids as early as 14 but it depends on their responsibility level and grades, attitude, dependability, trustworthiness, etc... So they may end up being 18 first. lol!

Sixteen, no one starts truly dating until they can drive themselves and their dates to a place for a date to occur. Sorry dude until then your just flirting.
