UFC is actually real. It is intense, and extremely violent. But just like other sports there are rules, regulations, and weight classes. The thing that is so incredibly different about it is that every fighter is different and uses different fighting styles.

It's definitely real. If you have any question about it, go watch a bout and sit in the first 3 rows. When you get blood and spit and even **** on you-and the guy next to me did, you won't have any doubt. It is fascinating and the guys and girls that do this are amazing...nothing short of. Ronda is simply outrageous in the skills that she brings to the chain. Truly friends, boxing is tough, but compared to UFC, it's like Obama vs Putin. And yes, that can be scary if you're an American. It should scare you.

UFC is not fake, and it is the reason MMA has come on so strong. My family has been involved in the professional wrestling world for 3 generations and it is fake, has been since the 50's, but the wrestlers are in awesome shape, they have to "fight" for 5-15 minutes and usually going at a good pace. Many have to go through the ranks wrestleling over seas like Japan before they get a chance to step into the big ring. UFC fighters are also in perfect shape, they fight all out for 3 minutes of high impact. I like the UFC because of the lack of soap opera appeal, I like real artist, not actors.

No it's not fake, you can lose an eyeball, break a rib, have a heart attack which makes it appealing.

Boxing is legal correct? UFC is real and less dangerous then boxing....Think about it how many people have died boxing from repeatedly getting pounded in the head hundreds of times throughout a match. UFC you might get knocked out or submitted but then its over. No deaths have occured in the UFC so I do not see any reason for it to be outlawed.

It's not fake, and it is hardly extreme. Basically, it's striking and groundwork, so you might get someone with a karate and judo, boxing and wrestling, kickboxing and BJJ, etc... background, but that's really all it is. The bad image just comes from the language, the fighting in a cage, and the ground and pound.
