Try giving some of your time to your community Nursing Home. There are many seniors that have out lived their families and friends and would love for someone to adopt them for short visits and talks. Even just for the holidays when they are especially lonely.

Go to a senior center, volunteer at the hospital, go visit elementary school classes, go volunteer at a homeless shelter or a food pantry. Go to the Better Business Bureau and maybe they could help you too.

Call your local feed the homeless organizations- they always need people to help prepare, cook, feed and clean up - that would look great on college resumes also. You can also call your local churches and hospitals
