we used to date for about a year, we broke up, then dated on and off...i went to school, and we've been going out and chilling like usual when i come in town, along with some kissing intimate moments and deep conversation...talking atleast once a day, saying i love you at the end of every phone conversation or when i leave to go back to school...A member of my band called me and asked where i was.( I was laying on my "unclassified/unofficial significant other's bed partialy sleep) I said at a "friends house", because he doesnt know about our relationship, nor has he ever met her. She heard me refer to her as a "friend" and got upset unsocial and short tempered with me.When i left, she texted me "good to know we're just friends"How was I supposed to assume we were in an official relationship? was I wrong?how do i fix this?

the only way it is fixable is if you talk to her and tell her you are sorry and that you weren't sure how she felt. be honest with her in how you feel and if you want it to be a relationship then never ever refer to her as "your friend". i've been through this myself and know that it stings to hear a guy that you feel is your bf refer to you as just a friend.

you have been leading her on, she thinks there is more to it then just friends, i am a girl and i know if all that was going on with me and someone i would think that we were more than friends, the only way to maybe fis this is to let her know now what if any intentions you have with her, and then just either be friends or or a couple, tell her you are sorry, and don't kiss or sleep with her if you don't want anything more than a friendship with her, we are very emotional people (women that is) and you just hurt her talk to her and tell her what, why, how, and if there is going to more tha just a friendship

i can relate...it's not that you were wrong it's that since your still doing stuff with her you can't just call her a friend that's rude..she feels like she's any other girl that you just mess with or hook up with when thats not the case..and she obviously cares about you more then just a friend..matter a fact she's probably waiting for you to make it official...just say sry and make things right..know that next time you shouldn't call her friend..i hope that helped

You need to talk to her and maybe define your relationship. You can fix this by maybe explaining to her that your friend doesn't know about your relationship.
