I was traveling with a large group, and we all shared pics at the end. There was one shocking pic of a giant naked fat man, sitting on the ground, elbows on knees, head on one hand. He's kinda whitish yellowish in color. Bald head , sad face. I think it may have been in DC, but I'm not sure. Can anyone tell me where this statue is and why?? It's just kinda odd. I tried searching images on the 'net, but you can imagine what my search turned up. yikes!

It sounds like you're describing art by Ron Mueck. I don't know if he has anything in DC right now, but I remember a few years ago I saw his stuff at the Hirshhorn Gallery. There's a picture of the sculpture that I think you're describing on their website:

He is not a naked fat man.ha ha ha . He is Budda. The statue is in California in the begining of sunset bolvd hollywood. YOu might have seen on the way to your visit of hollywood area. The statue is in front of the chinese restaurant. As there are different kind of shapes of budda it depends on the different country. Like thailand, srilanka, tibet, china, hongkong, japan, e.t.c

You should try watching a comedy or a action/adventure movie such as Unknown and Thor. Or maybe something like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is also a funny movie yet much game-like. Splice is good and so is The Crazies.
