Okay, I'm not sure if I understand your question, but let's see...

Why should you have to pay money to the church in order to pray and be in God's good graces?

If I translated that right, I'd say you don't. No amount of money can stand between you and God. God does not charge by the hour. He's always there for you. You might not get the answer you want, or won't understand it until much later, but he's there.

The money part is called Tithe. Usually it's 10% of what ever you can give goes to the church. This is an out dates practice, but it still goes on. No, you are not buying your way into heaven. This money goes to supporting the church and the community. Best Wishes.

You don't have to give money to or pay the church in order to pray of be in touch with God. Who told you that?

Praying is a right we all have and prayer is one of the greatest ways to be in touch with God.

You are not "paying" the church, you are tithing. That is comanded in the Bible. It is not so that you make the church wealthy, it is so the Church can grow and bring others to worship God. It is also to support your preacher, who has devoted his life to spreading the word of God.

I don't know why some people think that churches and preachers are greedy for asking for donations or tithes. It was not brought about by the church, it is comanded in the Bible by God.

Most people do not understand where the bible says anywhere you are speaking his name with two or more people is considered a church. Under a tree can be a church.
Instead they want to show how prosperous they are by having a nice church with a pasture roaming around in a newer vehicle.

In other words your money goes to the preacher and the upkeep of the church that does not pay taxes.....Some places will say they send it to this person or that, charity.

God does not need buildings or money. Man passes the plate

And the sign said everybody welcome, come in, kneel down and pray
But when they passed around the plate at the end of it all,
I didn't have a penny to pay, so I got me a pen and a paper and I made up my own little sign
I said thank you Lord for thinking about me, I'm alive and doing fine

I remember reading when an Indain asked the first white men about God and they told him then they built a church and he asked them if God is everywhere why put him in a building?
They had no answer.
You can go to church and pray in a field.. Its man's need for money that cause the pot to be passed

You do not have to do anything, at least as it pertains to God.

If you have accepted him as your creator and your personal Lord and Savior, then you would want to do his work.

Jesus had to use the monetary system in place at the time he was here in order to teach different lessons on submission to earthly and spiritual authority.

If money is what is keeping you from submitting fully to God and his will and his way, you need to ask and seek answers from God about this weakness in your spiritual walk.

Now, if any church is telling you that you need to pay in order to communicate with God, they are wrong. What you need is for money ( or anything else) not to be more important to you than God.

I would live in a cardboard box if I had to. I am not attached to any of the material blessings that God has given me. This does not mean I have to give them up, it just means that I have to be prepared to lose them and still Love God with all that I am.

We are not "forced" to give money! A true Christian will give to the poor! Unfortunately, Christianity has been somewhat corrupted in the past few years. And Corrupt Christianity is a path that has led people like you to believe what you do! Corrupt Christians are creating atheism in others. But thats not the fault of Almighty God! If you don't believe in him; thats your choice! and the way God intended it! God intended for man to have "free will"! To serve him or not to serve him! Any church that says that you have to give money in order to be saved is a Corrupt church! People need to investigate Christianity themselves as to make sure they are not being misled! The bible says "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" It does not say that man should work it out for you!

You're not paying to speak or get in touch with God. You're paying the church to have funds and be able to function. And when you go to church, it's not required. Running a church and the orginization isn't free ya know...

You don't have to pay. This is a giant rip off of all religions, giving the so called preists a free ride. Not one preist can get you an inch closer to God. When they pass the plate if you feel guilty put an IOU in it.

Paying money for any kind of religious service is slightly hypcritical. Although I pay tithing to my church, which is encouraged but not required to get past the doors.
