1) It could be demons, because scripture is obvious that they do interfere in human events. One might ask why demons would go around making strange noises, etc.... Well, my mom personally watches ghost channels on tv and I've seen how its turned her against Christianity, so if the demons want to turn people away from God, apparently they do a good job acting as ghosts. Naturally when you think of demon you might think of some horned beast that wants to go around killing people, but that is not their mission; their mission is deception, and ghosts apparently do deceive people away from God.
2) It COULD (in at least some instances) be your eyes or your mind playing tricks with you.

Job 4:15 A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end. NIV
I am a Christian paranormal investigator. And we are discovering that "ghosts" may actually be a sort of visual echo of something which has passed on. That means that there is no soul attached to it. These are called "imprints" and usually are seen repeating the same thing in a loop like fashion and they do not interact with the living. So, in my view, a soul-less imprint does not contradict the Bible. The passage quoted above from Job may be describing such a phenomena. But there are incidents in the Bible where the dead are clearly souls of those who have passed on such as when Saul consulted the witch of Endor and called up Sammuel in 1 Sam. 28. This is why I am a Christian paranormal investigator. Like you, I want to know exactly what these "ghosts" are. My gut feeling is that they are demonic activity portraying our deceased loved ones in an attempt to draw us away from the truth of scripture. That is after all Satan's mission. And I believe he is very good at it. The Bible says many will be deceived - and they are!

obviously Since such experiences are so common, it is evident that many people have spoken to someone from the spirit world. But they have not talked with the dead, The Bible is very clear when it says:"As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all."(Eclesiastes9:5) So if it is not the dead who are speaking from the spirit world, who are speaking? Who are pretending to be dead persons?
Wicked spirits are. These spirits or demons, are angels who joined Satan in rebellion against God. Why do they pretend to be persons who have died? It is to advance the idea that the dead are still living. Wicked spirits have also lead many to believe the lie that death is only a change to another life. To spread this lie, wicked spirits provide spirit mediums, fortune tellers and sorcerrs with special knowledge that only seems to come from persons who have died. So please keep away from those because they are used by wicked spirits and you will only get more heartache by listening to them, wicked spirits are wicked, and they only want you to miss seeing your brother again where as God promised he would bring back to life dead loved ones!

It's very possible. The ghosts that they see are demons impersonating dead relatives. Satan wants people to believe that when a person dies, he/she has gone to heaven and can then communicate to the living. But that is not true. When a person dies, he/she stays dead until Jesus returns for all of us that will be saved. The wicked dead stay dead for another 1000 years, until the second Resurrection, when they will be cast into the lake of fire to be burned up and completely destroyed forever.

Nowhere does it say you will not see ghosts. Ghosts are demonic manifestations and can be seen and recognized by man, and it is recorded in the Bible with a warning. They are known as familiar spirits and seducing spirits, maybe others but they do not come to mind right now.

Are you sure? Samuel Chapter 28. Saul has a woman with a familiar spirit in Endor call up the spirit of Samuel. He came and rebuked Saul. The story demonstrates how displeased the Lord was with this action.

where in the scripture does it say that? The Disciples saw Jesus after He rose from the dead. He even could disappear. I think they are souls that have unfinished business on earth and will not "go on to the light" until that business is fulfilled. I have a former pastor who had a ghost in his home.

No, you're able to desire to settle for Him using fact the Son of God, meaning that he's God in flesh. look at this passage: Luke 23:40-40 3 however the different, answering, rebuked him, asserting, "Do you not even concern God, seeing you're under an analogous condemnation? John 5:18 states: 18For this reason the Jews tried all the extra good to kill him; not in basic terms grew to become into he breaking the Sabbath, yet he grew to become into even calling God his own Father, making himself equivalent with God. it particularly is clean that the early followers of Christ believed that Christ grew to become into God in flesh or no less than in some why shape or variety a hundred% equivalent with God. despite in case you look at Christ being nailed on a flow. This grew to become right into a curse to Jewish human beings and that they've been to grant their life for yet another Jew - yet yet they of course gave Him over - Why? using fact it grew to become into lawful to convict to dying on the flow one that claimed to be God. it particularly is why that they had no issue with it. Even Peter's Church , which we nevertheless understand the region has imprinted on the partitions the worshipof Christ as God or Diety. So no, you could not settle for Christ with out particularly accepting who he's, and that's God in flesh. we stay in an age the place we've not any issue re-defining christianity and what it ability to be christian, yet neither the way nor the Diety of Christ has replaced. and that's regardless of denomination nor age.

We are triune creatures - flesh, spirit and soul. We live in a physical and spiritual world.
I know of no scripture that would preclude visions and revelations of spirits. Would you please direct us to the scripture you believe relevant to support your claim in the second sentence of your question?
