Sure, it's all right with the "Supreme Starfish" and don't the land dwelling Christians believe in at least three conflicting theologies at once and they seem to be able to work it all out somehow, so what's wrong with two?

Well, if you are asking about yourself, I don't see how you can be a Buddhist and a Satanist at the same time. I don't know much about Satanism but I suspect you worship Satan. I also know that Buddhists believe it is wrong to harm any living creature. There is the problem, when one religion teaches one thing and the other religion teaches the opposite. You can't believe 2 opposing things at the same time. Psychologists call that Cognitive Dissonance. What I would suggest is to choose a religion based on what you believe is true, not based on what you like. I am a Christian and I know that God is, that Jesus is, and that the Bible is true. That's what I care about, truth. Sometimes when I try to obey Jesus teachings they instruct me to do something I don't like to do (for example, praying for someone I feel has hurt me or I feel angry at), but I know that by doing what I don't like to do, if it is the right thing to do, will cause things to come out better than if I did what I wanted to. I hope I have written something that has been helpful.

Take out the term "religion" and you can believe in any number of them. Religion mostly denotes the human infrastructure of a faith or theology and of those it is very difficult to find two that are the same enough, or that don't preach the classic "we're right, they're wrong" theology. If God is to be found he will let himself be seen. First understand what it is you believe and what it is you look for. Then you'll have a better understanding of what "religion" to which you adhere.

No. Although there may seem to be apparent similiarities between some religions, each religion in its totality is unique with its own beliefs and practices. If you try to believe in more than one, you'll find that you can't commit yourself to either. Yourself eventually run into contradictions. And you'll become confused, because ultimately, you're mind and heart are divided rather than unified, and you'll either have to choose or give up on either of them.
Instead of hedging your spiritual life by trying to believe in two religions, take a courageous stand and commit yourself to one.

you can believe in Santa Claus the Tooth ferry and anything yoou desire. But do you really have a relationship with them. To me Religion makes division which I believe is against my soul. I am A christian Raised ina catholic family as far as you cvan trace italy france on and on. My ancestors came here to flee religious persecution, supposedly. I chose not to be confirmed catholic , you cant imagine......... why? I belive jesus said love one another and dont judge. So why belong to one group, we are all brothers and sisters, Believe in Christb , God and let the holy spirit in your life ,, dont shut them out. Only good will come . Find your faith not a religious sect. P.s. I still attend catholic mass more than others It most comfortable to me, but it your soul and faith and hiow you live , thats what really matters call yourself whatever you like. P.S. If you think about it, most religions are extremely similar. So believing in two at once is nearly like believing in one. Depends on the religions though. Could you specify what religions you are talking about?

The mind is a beautiful thing. In the human mind, the whole universe can be stored. Magic and Science can come together to form something awesome, or terrible.
Yes, you may believe in how many religions you can justify.

Depends on which religions. High control groups say that they are the only true religion, having black and white thinking. More healthy religious groups know that it is not the religious organization but the worship of God that is important.

I have trouble believing in one religion. I read the bible and have been to several different churches.I listen to what they all have to say and take a piece of what I have learned with me. I search for God's word. I call myself Christian.

You can, but it really depends on how deep you want to go with your religion. Religion is a lot like playing a musical instrument or medicine, etc... eventually you need to 'specialize' to get the full benefits.
