But Bill...if you come to God through Jesus Christ, which Jesus said is the only way you can access the Father, you will get something in return. What are you looking for? A born again believer in Christ is given salvation, eternal salvation. They also will have peace and joy and wisdom, if you study His word, there are hundreds of promises for the believer. We cannot out-give God, it's not possible. Please pursue a relationship with Jesus and knowledge of God's word. You will be "given" a hundred times over things that are eternal and fine.

First of all.....If you believe you do not need anything. But what is really the question here? Is God real? Did Adam and Eve actually start off on earth? Is God really a man? There are many answers here to understand. If God created man in his image, then god is really an animal also known as dog. Man's best friend, as god is our Savior.
There is also more proof in the scientific world that Adam and Eve did not and were not even created by god. There is more proof that a space craft crashed and the survivors established themselves as the first humans or humanoids to develop in the new world. These alien's mated with the natural species to create what we have today.
So if you are expecting something in return, look to the stars and pray to the lords of the skies. Maybe one day they will return and take you away with them......and then we can enjoy the no bs questions that people place here for us who like giving strange answers, and collecting 2 points.
Have a nice day...smile, afterall....God is watching you!

With a bit more information, I could probably help you with this. I don't know what you are investing in your faith- what your practices are- but I am hoping that your investment contains things that bring you some peace of mind, like prayer, meditation, compassionate action and so on. There should be a direct return on these behaviors. Belief should be a direct source of comfort in your life in its own right. Even if things go wrong in your material world (and lemme tell ya bro...) your faith practices should keep you feeling hopeful and encouraged in life. Yes. Expect a return on your investment. Then INVEST.

Life is a test.. a test of our faith... We sometimes cannot see the reason behind things.. But there is a purpose and a reason given by God... Maybe you have the answer right before you, but your greed blinds you... If you pray and ask for a million dollars, God might answer you in other ways.. maybe its getting out there and working for your life, not sitting back hoping a big bag of money will plop on your lap... You have to be able to accept what God has planned for you... He chose to put you here on earth. Obviously for a reason.. so work for it...

Quit watching TV preachers. They say you will be rich if you send them money..........You will be healed of your illnesses, if you have faith.........Nothing bad will happen to you.......You will receive miracles and speak in tongues, ect.ect.ect The Bible teaches that you will have trials and tribulations. And even you will be persecuted for his names sake. We are not promised a bed of roses while we are here on this earth. Thank God for the blessings he has allowed you to have and pray for others. Do not expect anything in return. His grace is sufficient for the day.

I also believe in God but i never give up on faith. Why do you expect something in return? God is great and in time he will show you a miracle. Then you'll never doubt him again.

What's wrong with expecting something in return?

God loves you. God will provide. Don't worry. Be Happy.

Just remember to thank God, freely share with others what he gives you, and you'll be just fine.

Hoping for God money are we? Sorry buddy. It doesn't work that way. If you're trying to earn God's favor, just so he'll do you favors in return, you're better off investing in the stock market.

I speak those things that are unseen as if they are, pray and seek his face, and put a little fasting with it from time to time. This works for me, but you have to build your own personal relationship with God,pray and ask him to allow his will to be done in your life and not your own. He will answer and try reading Hebrews 11 the entire chapter is on faith...
