It's not why do women do that, but why does SHE do that. All women do not act in the same manner so we shouldn't be generalized as doing the same actions just because one woman did so. You should give her another call and ask her why she did the things she did. If you still can't reach her just forget about it. It's not worth it. Some women like the chase so she could be doing that or maybe she doesn't like you anymore for some reason. If you do somehow reach her and talk to her I'm sure she has a logical explanation for doing what she did. If she doesn't then forget about her. If she gives a good reason and does it again anyway I think you should move on. Life is too short to be playing games and wasting time. I'm sure there are other women out there that would have no problem going out with you.
You sure you didn't say or do anything that might've turned her away from you? I'm not saying that if this is true that she has a right to just ignore you. She still should be woman enough to address the issue or situation, or at least let you know that she doesn't want to go out with you anymore.
Give her a few more days to call (and call her a few more times)..after that if you still don't hear from her you'll be certain that she's not into you anymore. Don't take it too personal and find someone else.
Take care :)

Maybe she did like you, but after you went out a few times she felt as though there was no chemistry between the two of you. Don't take it personally she was initially attracted to you or she wouldn't have gone out with you in the first place. Sometimes people just don't click. If you try talking to her and it doesn't go anywhere just move on there's plenty of other girls out there that will click with you. Good Luck!!!!

Well sometimes we are too nice to say no, and then after we have gone out with you, we may not think that your what we are looking for in a b/f so we panic and wonder what we got ourselves into and back off a little as we dont like confrontations.
Its not your fault at all, just remember that, you sound like a nice guy, but sometimes we need to a test drive, and it doesnt always work out

I really do not mean to sound mean but that's is a blow off. When I dated I was guilty of this I did not want to seem mean or rude so I was nice during the date but then blew him off. It is a way of not having to do face to face rejection. The only other thing you could hope for is she is really busy (ya right). That is what people say to spare your feelings. She just did not feel the chemistry. Quit calling her you sound desperate.

Welcome to the game of dating. Most girls do not like to do the pursuing, that means that we don't like to return calls. We will wait for you to contact us, and this sometimes means that you have to continue to call us until we are home and available to talk to you. We girls like to play a little hard to get; however we do not like guys that seem desperate to win us over, so after calling us for a while, stop pursuing us. I guarantee you, if she is interested, she will find a way to let you know that she is interested. If you don't hear from her, she wasn't that into you.I know this seems like a bunch of head games, well it is. It is one big game and cat and mouse, but it sure can be fun.

Ya know guys tend to do this alot more than chicks do. However she is acting immature so you are better off with out her if she doesn't even have enough decency to respond to.

Perhaps after few outings the girl may feel that you're not the one for her thus the silent treatment. Move on....

I don't understand what you mean by she was supposed to meet you, didn't you already meet? I don't think that she took you as a challenge just to see if she could get you. Maybe she was not impressed after what she saw.
