I have had seizures for about three a nd a half years but today I simply blacked out. It took a full minute to regain conciousness and don't recall the episode. I am nervious because I do not normally pass out but colapse, remaining awake. And when I do loose consiousness it is only for a few seconds. My lastt EEG was three weeks ago and MRI 1.5 year. I shook about ten minutes after regaining consiousness and was wondering if this in a type of aura of something?

Could be another type of seizures, there are seizures where you lose conciousness, or just have a blank stare. I would call your doctor monday, or sooner if it happens again.

there are different degrees of seizures, Which you already know by now. I look after a young girl who does pass out when she has a petite Mal seizures but not during a grande Mal.
After a grande Mal she simply sleeps.

Did your doctors adjust your meds recently?
Or is it possible you have had a change in hormone levels?

I would talk to your doctor and inform him or her that you did pass out.

My heart goes out to you
God bless
