First of all, you should find out whether he's got another girl, BEFORE you get all "crushified"...but even then, it may hit hard. I never went through that at age 18 or 25...I didn't' meet my true love (and wasn't looking) 'til I was 34! I was ecstatic, 'til I found out he was married.
Things went on, he fell for me and we became friends and started hanging out...(as "friends", ri-i-ight!). I had given up hope, but the pain of wanting him only increased!
If he hadn't left his wife and married me (NOT because I pushed him to! I think people should make their own decisions), I don't know what I'd have done...probably moved to the Caribbean (that was my plan).
SO....the "moving on" can go quickly, as it did in my former relationship, or never go away at all, as in this case. I think I'd always have loved him no matter what.
Sorry if that's not what you needed to hear, but it's different with each person and each relationship! I wish you luck...

Depends on how hard the blow is. If you found out after it looks like the guy was practically leading her on...then it's gonna take a while. If it is just noticing the girlfriend by seeing her around him....it shouldn't take too terribly long. The only way a person would know how long it takes for them to move on, is when they finally moved on.

Well for me it always took a while. Depends on what type of girl. I have been in the same situation before cause I was working with a guy like that. You oviously have feelings for this girl or you wouldn't be so concerned.

for me if I really felt deeply for him,and we had been going out for say 1-2 years it would take a while, sure id hook up with other guys but it would be to get the 'ex' out of my head, and because you think why not hes probly doing it to me anyway..if it was a guy that id been with for say 2-8 months it would be a little easier as i wouldnt of had that close bond and 'always togeather feeling
hope sum of this helped in a way???!!

it most likly depends on how much u liked the person before. if u wre in love then prolly a year or months. and if u just liked her ALOT then prolly a month or so. andif u like hher just a lil bit then it will take like a week or to a month. basically it depends on how active u r and wat iur doing cuz if ur just sitting around in ur house then it will take u longer to get over that person but if u r active nd hanging out with toehrs and playing and stuff then it will be less time u get over him.
