Right now you're torn between your dad and your mom and you're probably not old enough to be going there to live with him.Wait another year or so and then go for a holiday and if you like it, ask him if you can live with him and tell your mom that this is a thing you have to do and that you love her. Why do you think your mom hates you, because she won't let you live with him now. She has to adjust to the fact that your dad was not the right parent for you, maybe she doesn't you but is scared for you.

How old are you now? Well i can understand your mom not wanting your dad around when he wa drinking that's not a good think i lived with that for along time and believe me it wasn't healthy, now that your dad is sober that wonderful but i wouldn't want my daughter to move out after all she's your mom and she loves you that would break her heart well at it would me,try just getting together more with your dad and maybe eeryone will be happy, remember the grass always looks greener on the other side.Hope this helps a little.

I don't totally understand the situation, but your dad isn't a drunk if he has been sober for ten years. If you want to live with him and are old enough you can ask your dad to petition the court on your behalf so that you can determine for yourself where you live. Good Luck

how old are you? and how long has your dad been sober? if he completly changed that type of lifestyle then i see no reason why you cant live with your dad but, since your mom has custody of you then she has a right to decside whom you live with unless both of your parents go to court and your dad can prove that he has been sober for 10yrs and that he can provide a stable enviorment for you ..i dnt know why you rather live with your dad but, since your not sure as to wether or not you want to live with you dad my advice would be to visit him or have him visit you that way you can spend time with your father and have time to decide wether or not you really want to live with him...

Your mother has taken care of you for the past 10 years while your father was an alcoholic. She cares about you and is just looking out for your well being.

Nowhere in your paragraph was there an actual question. Perhaps you should add a question. I don't think anyone can answer you properly without an actual question.

you could attempt the "intervention" factor all you elect however the reality is that individuals with alcohol issues could desire to make the determination to quit, no you will make it for them. they'll do exactly it at the back of your backs. on occasion it takes something extensive to grant them the awaken call they elect.

im sorry that you think your mom hates you. im sure that thats because shes not a good person. real mothers dont hate their children. talk to your school counselor about it, they would be familiar with what your options are
