Green and White tea are good for you and has the most antioxidants. Black tea is a lower kind of tea, since it is processed more.
I would cut down on the sweet tea. Thats alot of sugar and even more if you buy the premade sweet teas.
If you want to sweeten the tea at all try some honey.
Tea doesn't make you taller, he is just pulling your leg.

Tea is generally healthful. Sweet tea if sweetened with sugar is another story. A glass a day would still be pretty safe if you don't have diabetes or some other sensitivity to sugar, including weight control problems. Tea contains antioxidants and other great micro-nutrients that many say contribute to good health and longevity. It does contain caffeine which can make you jittery or interfere with sleep if you consume too much. Tea consumed without sugar, especially green tea, would be considered healthful by most.

I don't know the complete details about tea but they're really great for you, especially green and black tea. Drinking tea can also help you lose weight. There are other health benefits you can get from it. Just be careful not to drink too much like 8x a day because since tea is diuretic, some vitamins in your body can be washed out. Drinking overly too much can cause osteo and/or brittle bones. But you need not to worry too much, just don't overly drink tead everyday. Anything that's excess is bad for you.

I'd love to have some.
Sweetie, too much of anything is bad for you. But I drink
1 to 2 mugs a night, when it's cold, but not cold enough for hot chocolate. That's just in late fall and all of winter. Herbal tea is better than tea. When the cold weather comes, everyone's got to drink something hot. I just found a recipe for a tea drink. Interested?

Tea is generally good. However tea like green tea which are non caffeine are better. Black tea should be limited to one cup per day.
And you mentioned sweet tea. By right tea is good but the sugar in it is not. So limit it too.

Some researches shows that tea contains antioxidant which helps to fight cancer
But some recent researchers proved that even some antioxidants got converted into oxidising agents thats enough to cause cancer
Besides this tea weakens memory power and central nervous system
so tea has more bad effects than good ones
so get limited to your drink

Tea has antioxidants which help your immune system. And I don't believe this is a supplement that's helps you grow or else someone besides you Asian friend would have said so and caffine stunts your growth. but, if you drink too much tea you'll go all hyper from all of the caffine

too much of anything isn't such a good thing.
sweet tea is good.. but watch that sugar. green tea unsweetened is best for daily intake.
no growth is dependant on heredity mostly.
try some green tea natural sometime... that'll clean out that sugar and you'll feel great.
but don't stop the sweet tea... that stuff rules.

Hi, sweet teas/cold ones will add calories and to your belly.
If you mean a hot cup w/bag, just use sweetener instead of sugar.
It's a mean anti-oxidant and tastes good too.
