ive never gotten a cold sore before, and i know there is a chance I will get one now. What are the chances?

VERY good. The cold sore is a type of herpes and is very contagious. Maybe you slid by this time. I hope so.

I don't Know How David B Arrived at the 70/30 Figure, but I Don't Have a Figure to Give you, Pops was Correct, HSV-1 Probably. I Think you Will Know In About 10 Days, Assuming a Primary Antibody Response, Will Cause Symptoms. May I Suggest, Taking Valcyclovir or Acyclovir for Several Days (I don't Know How Long), In the Hopes that the Virus (if Transmmitted) Will Not Set up Latent Infection In your Trigemminal Nerve.
