Penguins only live in the southern hemisphere; on the coasts of the southermost continents and islands and Antarctica. Most can be found on or near Antartica, or on or near the South Island of New Zealand. More specifically, penguins are found in Antarctica and the Sub-Antarctic Islands, southern South America, the Galapagos Islands and Isabella Island, Macquarie Island, South Africa and neighboring islands, southern Australia and Tasmania, and the South Island of New Zealand and neighboring islands.

In a lot more places than people realize. There are many species of penguins. People always associate them with the South Pole, but there are penguins in many places in the Southern Hemisphere, even in the Galapagos Islands, which are near the Ecuator.

Some pengiuns dont live in snow and frost. Jackass pengiuns live off the coast of South Africa. they cant really nest on the mainland because they will get eaten by predators. I found a link for you.
