If that's really true- you can change that.

You sound depressed and that's ok. I am too. When I start thinking like you I only get more depressed. Positive action is the only thing you can do to feel better and don't wait to feel better before you start. Let's both not think about dying and think about living tonight. Let's think of something positive we can do tommorow

I've had that thought. It is very sad. I'm bipolar and I experience one or two deep depressions every year. Each time, I become extremely suicidal and obsessed with death. I rationalize that I must be a burden to those that I love and care about. I figure that they would be better off without me. Just this past year, I have begun to openly talk about these feelings with those that I love and care about. I was surprised at the responses that I received. They cried and told me just how much they really did care. Maybe you should ask too.

I have yet to meet a person who loved and cared about others yet had nobody care about them.

However, it's not uncommon for *depressed* individuals to believe that nobody would care. The fact of the matter is that it's simply not true and it's the depression speaking. A person who feels that way ought to seek professional help.

IF that was a true statement, it would be sad, but it isn't. IF you care about someone then surely they care about you.

A lot more people care about YOU than you know.
Good luck. Pops

It's easy to feel that way when we're depressed. Without being too cliche, the effects of death are like ripples in a pond . . . it reaches further than you could possibly imagine.

Yup, but then you realize those people don't matter anyway. I have long learned that what others think of me is of little relevance. I really could care less whether they wanted me dead or alive.

I agree with blu158. Read what he said again. I've been reading your questions too, I know you're depressed. I really wish you would get some help because I believe you can feel better.

there is someone out there that would definitly care if you werent there. even if it feels like there isnt there always is unless you are a phyco killer or something. Just because people have a hard time conveying there affection doesnt mean it isnt there.
